Let's Play Music in 2017

Registration for fall classes is right around the corner!  I would love to take into consideration your needs and schedules as I build my class schedule for the fall!

If you have a child (ages 4-6) you would like to enroll in Let's Play Music classes this fall, please complete THIS FORM by January 25th.

Sound Beginnings on Merry Main Street!

We've been having so much fun in Downtown Mesa as part of the Merry Main Street festivities!  Kidtastic events has arranged for 3 free holiday themed music classes, right under the christmas tree! You're invited to this FUN and FREE opportunity to get a sneak peak at the Sound Beginnings curriculum.  The next and final event will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 10:00 a.m.   Be sure to RSVP on the facebook event so we know to expect you!

Give the Gift of Music!

Give your toddler the gift of music this holiday!  Enroll today in one of my Sound Beginnings classes, and dedicate 30 minutes each week to bonding and enhancing the development of your toddler!  This fun filled class prepares students for success in Kindergarten and in my Let's Play Music classes through SEVEN foundational elements:

Literacy and Kindergarten Skills

Rhythm and Beat

Vocal and Pitch Development

Fine Motor Skills

Gross Motor Skills

Classical Music Experience

Parent Bonding

Classes are available at my home studio near Country Club & University in Mesa, or at my new Scottsdale studio at the Scottsdale Neighborhood Arts Place (SNAP) located off the 101 and Indian School.  Don't see a class time that will work for you?  Ask about alternate class times (minimum of 4 families registered to create a class).  

Enroll today at www.letsplaymusicsite.com and click find a teacher, and then search by my last name (Lovell).  Purchase your materials by December 18th and they will be available for local pick-up at the studio of your choice before Christmas! Monthly tuition is just $35/month for the first child or $45/month for a family.

Movies on Main - Exciting things!

Exciting things are happening in my little studio, and I can't wait to share them all with you!

First, have you checked out Movies on Main?  This is a great FREE downtown Mesa event.  Stop by our studio booth and say hello, dance with us before the show and get ready for some fun!

Students who wear their Let's Play Music shirt get a special prize!  There will be a costume contest, trick-or-treating at the vendor booths and LOTS of FUN!  I hope to see you there.

Fall 2016 Classes!

Happy first week of school! Many parents have reached out about the availability of classes during the fall, here are some classes that I am CONSIDERING and others that are scheduled:

Sound Beginnings (ages 2-4 & parent) - 

Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - this class is scheduled

Tuesday 2:00 p.m. - need minimum of 4 families

Sound Beginnings classes are 30 minutes (although families usually stay an extra 15 minutes to complete a craft), tuition is $100/semester ($25/month)

Let’s Play Music -1st Year (ages 4-6)

Tuesday 3:15 p.m. - need minimum of 4 students

1st Year LPM classes are 45 minutes and parents attend EVERY OTHER lesson.  Tuition is $180/semester ($45/month).  It is anticipated that students are committed to complete all 3 years of this curriculum.

Are you ready for another GREAT year of Let's Play Music and Sound Beginnings classes?!

Fall 2015 Class Schedule:

Classes will begin the week of August 24th.  Fall schedule will be as follows:

Sound Beginnings : Wednesdays  10:00 a.m.

(for ages 2-4 and a parent, younger siblings welcome to attend for a discounted rate)

An additional class may be opened if needed.

First Year Let's Play Music: Available class times include

Wednesdays 1:15 p.m.

Wednesdays 3:15 p.m. 

Wednesdays 4:30 p.m. (FULL)

(for ages 4-6, parents attend every other class)

Second Year Let's Play Music: Thursdays 4:00 p.m.

(students must have successfully completed First Year, parents attend once a month)

Third Year Let's Play Music: Thursdays 5:30 p.m.

(students must have successfully completed First and Second Year, parents attend once a month)

Expanded Third Year Let's Play Music:  Tuesdays 4:00 p.m.

(students must have successfully completed First and Second Year, parents attend once a month)

This Third Year will be a slower paced class, taking two full years to complete the third year of the curriculum.

Mandatory Parent Orientations

Parent Orientations will be held one week prior to the beginning of class.  If you are currently registered (or planning to register), please mark your calendars for the following times:

First Year Parent Orientation: Wednesday, August 19th 7:00 p.m.

Second Year Parent Orientation: Thursday, August 20th  7:00 p.m.

Third Year Parent Orientation:  Tuesday, August 18th 7:00 p.m.

Sound Beginnings Parent Orientation will be held in conjunction with our first class.

Student materials will be distributed at these meeting, parents will receive an overview of the curriculum and studio policies, what to expect in class, how to practice at home and get a tour of my home studio.  This is a mandatory meeting, so if you are unable to attend please contact me ASAP to make alternate arrangements. 

Free Sample Class!

Unsure if you want to register?  Have a friend you want to join class with you?  Come check out my FINAL Free Sample Class of the summer.  Friday, August 7th at 4:00 p.m. in the Saguaro Room at the Main Branch of the Mesa Library.  Class will last approximately 30 minutes.  Hope to see you there!  Please RSVP via email.
