Let's Play Music in 2017

Registration for fall classes is right around the corner! I would love to take into consideration your needs and schedules as I build my class schedule for the fall!

If you have a child (ages 4-6) you would like to enroll in Let's Play Music classes this fall, please complete THIS FORM by January 25th.

What is Let's Play Music?

Let's Play Music is a music theory course that emphasizes total musicianship through piano playing, singing, classical music, note reading, and ear training... and it's accomplished through PLAY! The curriculum is organized into three sequential years. The first year, we use engaging games, songs and incorporate Tone Bells to teach staff awareness and rhythm reading skills. The second year, we transfer these skills to playing piano where we also learn chord notation, intervals, and harmonic improvisation. By the end of the third year, students are playing piano at an intermediate level, transposing music, composing their own music, sight-reading and are prepared to excel in further private piano instruction.
